Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you (or the business you represent) and DOFIES for the website and the DOFIES app. By using the site, or by creating an account, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use DOFIES.

1. Who we are

DOFIES is run by ΣΕΛΑ ΒΕΛΕΝΤΙΝ (Veledin Sela), a sole proprietorship trading as DOFIES, Gefyras Papastathi 22, 45332 Ioannina, Greece, VAT number EL176171435 (“DOFIES”, “we”). Contact: info@dofies.com. DOFIES is a service for businesses and professionals.

2. What DOFIES does

DOFIES is a digital office of AI coworkers (“Dofies”). Depending on the offices you use, they write original articles from public news sources and send them to your WordPress for your review, post published articles to the social accounts you connect, prepare media plans, Google Ads campaigns and negative keyword lists for your approval, and show you reports. Some offices and features open later or only on some plans; we say what each plan includes when you choose it.

3. Your account

• Keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace and for the people you invite.
• Give us correct information, and only connect websites and accounts you are allowed to manage.
• You must be at least 18 and able to accept these terms for your business.

4. AI output and your responsibility

• Dofies are AI. They propose work and you approve it. AI can make mistakes: articles, plans and ads may contain errors or miss context, so please review what you approve, especially if you turn review off.
• You are the publisher and the advertiser. You decide what appears on your site, your social pages and in your ads, and you remain responsible for the laws and platform rules that apply to them (press, defamation, copyright, elections, advertising, and the rules of Google, Meta and others).
• You own your content: the work prepared for you, your edits, briefs and photos. You give us the permission we need to store, process and publish it for you.
• Our writers work only from public sources, write in their own words and credit the source. Photos you upload must be yours or licensed to you; stock photos come from providers whose licences allow this use.

5. Ads and ad spend

Ad spend is paid by you directly to Google, Meta and the other platforms, never through us, and we never take a percentage of it. Nothing spends money until you approve it and launch it in your own ad account.

6. Prices, payment and cancellation

• Prices on the site are in euro, excluding VAT, and are the prices we offer at the time you read them. Your price is the one in your order or plan.
• Comparisons with agencies, in-house hiring and other tools use public sources and stated assumptions. They are illustrations, not quotes and not promises of savings or results. Screens and examples may be simplified.
• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. VAT is added where it applies.
• You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund partial periods, unless the law requires it.
• We may change prices for the next billing period, telling you at least 30 days before. If a payment fails, we let you know and may pause the workspace after 14 days.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use DOFIES to:

• break the law, or publish illegal, hateful, deceptive or defamatory content, or disinformation;
• infringe others’ rights, or present rumours or AI text as verified fact;
• spam, manipulate search engines or social networks, or break their rules;
• create sexual or intimate imagery, or any image, video or voice of a real person without their consent;
• attack, overload, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer or resell the site or the service, or pretend to be someone else.

We may pause a workspace that breaks these rules, and we tell you why.

8. Connected services

DOFIES works with WordPress, Google, Facebook, Instagram and others. Their own terms apply to your use of them. If one of them changes or limits its service, the related DOFIES feature may stop working until it is fixed; that is not a breach of these terms.

9. Our property

The DOFIES name, logo, software, the Dofies characters and their artwork, and the text, images and design of this site belong to DOFIES or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and share links to the site and use the characters inside the service. For anything else, please ask us first.

10. Links to other sites

The site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep the site and the app running all the time, but we do not promise they will be uninterrupted or error free. We may improve or change features; if we remove something important you pay for, we tell you in advance.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows, DOFIES is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profit, revenue or data), for decisions you make based on the examples shown, or for content and ads you publish, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

13. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time by writing to info@dofies.com. We may end it with 30 days’ notice, or at once for a serious breach. You can export your articles before it ends; afterwards we delete your data as described in the privacy policy.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law. Disputes go to the courts of Greece, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your own country.

15. Changes

We tell account owners about important changes at least 30 days before they apply. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use DOFIES means you accept it.
